My current skincare routine! |AFFORDABLE PRODUCTS|

Hey everyone!

Today I’ll be sharing my skincare routine which is not very elaborate but one that has helped my skin look and feel better. I have acne prone and sensitive skin so these products have helped me with regular use. Without any further delay read on to know more about my realistic skincare routine.

Step 1- Cleanser

On most days, I don’t do a lot of heavy makeup hence I totally skip using a makeup remover, otherwise, I use the Garnier Micellar Water with Argan oil that is affordable and removes makeup without drying out the skin. I then follow it up with the Cetaphil cleanser that is really mild and gentle on the skin, works perfectly and leaves my skin feeling soft and cleansed.

Step 2- Toner

I use the Kama Ayurveda Rosewater as a toner post the cleanser and it works really well by removing any leftover dirt on my skin and just makes my skin feel really clean. I have noticed that incorporating such a mild toner regularly actually helps in significantly reducing the breakouts on the skin as it really ensures that you have cleansed and balanced skin. While this is the most expensive product that I’m currently using, it lasts for more than 2 months when used once or twice a day which is quite a budget buy in my opinion.

Step 3- Moisturizer + Facial oil

I use the Cetaphil moisturizer which is quite heavy on the skin. In summers, I don’t really require something so thick therefore I use a pea-sized amount of this moisturizer mixed with a drop of the Avon Nutraeffects facial oil which gives me the right balance of hydration.

Step 4- Sunscreen ( Only during daytime)

When I’m stepping out during the day, I use the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer matte sunblock sunscreen which is the best till now since it mattifies the skin and doesn’t leave a white cast.

Face masks ( Not a part of the everyday routine)

On most days, my routine ends at step 3 but on some days when I have extra time or my skin is flared up, I skip step 3 and use ‘Soothing’ mask from The Face Shop which is one of my favorite masks from their range. Once I’m done masking, I just massage the serum into my skin and end my routine with it.
